Why Protein Balls?
Protein is essential for us all. It supports muscle development, keeps us full longer, and helps maintain our energy levels throughout the day. These protein balls are packed with wholesome ingredients that are not only nutritious but also delicious.
Ingredients
🌱 2 cups of oats
🌱 1/4 cup of chia seeds
🌱 1/4 cup of hemp seeds
🌱 1/4 cup of cacao nibs
🌱 1/2 cup of shredded coconut
🌱 1/2 TBS of flax seeds
🌱 1/2 cup of agave (or maple syrup)
🌱 1 TBS of vanilla
🌱 1 cup of peanut butter (or any nut butter)
🌱 1 TBS cacao powder
*Mix all the ingredients, except for the cacao powder, in a large bowl.
Use a spoon or cookie scooper to create mini balls and coat them in cacao powder.
Lay them out in a baking sheet and refrigerate overnight or for about 1 hour.
Tips for Customizing:
Nut-Free Option: Use sunflower seed butter instead of nut butter.
Add More Flavor: Mix in some shredded coconut, dried cranberries, or a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor.
Sneak in Veggies: Add a tablespoon of finely grated carrots or zucchini for a hidden veggie boost.
